Tom Webster joined the firm in 1998 and is a member of the Patent Practice Group. Tom concentrates his practice on drafting reexaminations; conducting offensive and defensive patent reviews; counseling and rendering opinions on third party patents; and providing technical support during litigation (e.g., drafting invalidity contentions, assisting with expert reports, identifying prior art). He also prosecutes patent applications and manages patent portfolios in a wide range of technical fields including microprocessor architecture, computer architecture, software (including enterprise and Internet software), digital communication systems, IP telephony, digital signal processing, and networking (both wired and wireless). Tom’s clients include start-ups, mid-sized companies and Fortune 100 companies.
