Kevin Grange is a member of the Patent Practice Group.  Kevin is a registered patent attorney whose practice primarily focuses on intellectual property protection in electrical and computer-related technologies.  He provides a broad range of patent-related services including preparation and prosecution of domestic and foreign patent applications, offensive and defensive patent reviews, preparation of opinions on third-party patents, IP due diligence investigations, and technical support during litigation.

Kevin’s technical areas of practice include processors (including general purpose, network, and systems-on-a-chip type processors), network devices, storage systems, wired and wireless communication systems, analog and digital electronics, networking and Internet technologies, computer architecture, photovoltaic cells, computer-aided design tools, MEMS circuits, memory devices, video graphics, robotics, medical devices and systems, content delivery networks, and software (including storage system operating systems, databases, routing protocols, compression and decompression of data, wireless communications, streaming video players, and data loss prevention).

Before embarking on the practice of law, Kevin was a software test engineer for the Department of Defense – Software Division, Ogden, Utah; and a student engineer at the Space Dynamics Laboratory, Logan Utah.
