James Go’s practice focuses primarily on patent preparation and prosecution, patent infringement and validity opinion work and client counseling in intellectual property related matters.

Prior to law school, he gained industry experience as a member of the technical staff at Hughes Aircraft Company from 1987 to 1991, and as a software design engineer at Advantest America, Incorporated from 1991 to 1992. His engineering work experience combined with degrees in electrical engineering, computer engineering and the law provide high tech intellectual property expertise in computer software and hardware, analog and digital circuits, Internet and electronic commerce technologies, semiconductor processes, optics, networking, communications and other related technologies.
