Greg Caldwell, as a member of the Patent Practice Group, is a registered patent attorney whose practice focuses on intellectual property protection in the software, hardware, data networking, telecommunications, and consumer electronic device industries.  He provides a full range of patent related services including preparation and prosecution of patent applications; preparation of opinions on validity and infringement of patents; review and evaluation of patent portfolios in connection with licensing/litigation activities, and mergers & acquisitions; negotiating patent licenses; counseling clients on IP management and strategy; and counseling clients regarding open source software licenses, particularly the implications of such to patent rights.
