Donna Jo Coningsby is a member of the Patent Practice Group. Donna is a registered patent attorney and counsels clients on intellectual property protection in the software, hardware, and communication industries. Donna’s focus is on providing quality patent preparation and prosecution services and counseling in related matters.

Donna first joined the Portland office in 1999. From 2002-2003 she served as in-house counsel to Digeo, Inc., a digital entertainment technology company located in the Seattle area. She returned to the firm 2006.

Donna is a former Chair of the Computer and Internet Law Section of the Oregon State Bar. Prior to practicing law, Donna pursued a career in computer programming and has provided computer consulting services to large corporations in the manufacturing, financial and insurance industries as well as to educational institutions. She has expertise in several computer programming languages and taught programming at a community college.
