Daniel Russell is a member of the Trademark Practice Group.  He joined the Firm in 2007.  Daniel's practice focuses on a wide variety of domestic and international trademark matters including availability opinions, prosecution, enforcement actions, and proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.  His practice also includes domain name dispute matters, copyright matters, due diligence projects, and litigation support. 

Prior to joining the Firm, Daniel worked as a Trademark Examining Attorney at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Daniel graduated from the University of Washington in 1998 with a B.A. in Psychology.  He graduated cum laude from Tulane Law School in 2004, where he was the Senior Notes and Comments Editor of the Tulane Journal of Technology & Intellectual Property.  In 2005, Daniel earned his L.L.M. in Intellectual Property, with honors, from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.  Daniel is a member of the California bar, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court of the Northern District of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
